Sales Specialist: PCS (Can sit anywhere in the US–Prefer East Coast.)

Are you looking to get off the bench? Seeking a Laboratory Sciences Specialist to provide pre and post sales technical, operational and application support to analytical and bioanalytical science customers. The Specialist will drive high levels of customer satisfaction by performing product related demonstrations and presentations.

Additional responsibilities include promoting a wide array of application solution products and capabilities to meet customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical guidance in support of the Account Management and Global Account teams. In addition, support Account Management and Global Account teams in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned product line and services.

. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide subject matter expertise to external clients in support of the Account Management and Global Account teams.
- Assist Account Management with presenting global capabilities, qualifying leads, demonstrating added value and closing new business opportunities by providing scientific support during sponsor teleconference calls, field visits and at scientific trade shows.
- Establish regular interface and communication with Account Management and Global Account teams to relay shared goals and targets; develop co-strategies to achieve defined targets; and work cohesively as a team to provide excellence in service to clients.
- Support the Account Management and Global Account teams to achieve business unit revenue goals.
- Provide feedback to internal clients regarding scientific and regulatory trends to identify business improvement and growth opportunities.
- Provide scientific review and oversight of protocols and reports as requested.
- Utilize CRM to capture customer information.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in related scientific discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience in pharmaceutical research, toxicology, and/or drug regulatory setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Other: Comprehensive knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and government regulatory requirements and guidelines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office standard software.
