Ideal Candidate:

Ziegler-Natta catalyst manufacturing and/or petrochemical processing; with a good understanding of both inorganic and organic chemistry
The Process Development Engineer is responsible for providing professional support to ensure that quality polyolefin catalysts are manufactured safely, on time, cost effectively and in an environmentally sound manner within our global operations (Pasadena, Texas USA and Tarragona, Spain). This position will conduct monitoring and analysis of the manufacturing processes and equipment operation to generate data utilized to identify, develop and implement opportunities for improvement in the areas of cost reduction, process efficiency, quality, de-bottlenecking, troubleshooting and reliability. It is expected that this role will interface and work closely with sales / marketing, manufacturing, R&D and our customers to ensure the appropriate scale-up of new products, improvements to existing processes and the development for process designs for expanded manufacturing capabilities. The incumbent will also serve as a technical liaison to the operations team and support multiple projects on a global basis.
BS degree in Chemical Engineering (or Technical degree, i.e. Mechanical Engineering or MS Chemistry, with related engineering/manufacturing background) is required.
Accreditation or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years experience in technology, operations and/or project management roles.
