Location:  Brooklyn, NY

Job Purpose:

Assesses educational needs of surgical robotics company staff, clients and distributors; formulates and directs appropriate training programs

Duties:

-                  Conducts analysis to evaluate technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design

-                  Determines surgeon, operating room staff, internal employees, and product distributor training requirements and develops training courses and materials to satisfy these requirements

-                  Oversees activities during the development, delivery and evaluation of technical training on-site globally (e.g. USA, Canada, Europe, Russia, Israel, APAC)

-                  Hands-on development, enhancement and updating of training collaterals (e.g PPTs) and involvement in selecting and managing relevant suppliers

-                  Researches, configures, maintains, updates and develops new and existing training programs

-                  Actively trains customers (e.g. surgeons, nurses), our employees and inorganic channels in clinical, technical and medical fields as well as others, as defined by MGMT

Description of the Ideal Candidate

Skills/Qualifications:
-                  5 years experience in:
-                  Creating training programs
-                  Training professionals in various environments
-                  At least 2 years of experience in the medical industry
-                  Native English speaker
-                  Located in the New York Metropolitan area
-                  Willing and able to travel internationally on a monthly basis
-                  Willing and able to travel domestically on a weekly basis
-                  Comfortable working in operating rooms and cadaver labs
-                  Willing and able to work independently and during varied hours 
-                  Willing and able to train individuals or groups of professionals (surgeons, nurses, technicians)
-                  Comfortable and adept at frontal presentations as well as in hands-on type training situations
-                  Eloquent, both one-on-one and with groups
-                  Patient, methodological, detail-oriented, charismatic, friendly/outgoing
-                   Ability to understand processes, simplify them and build them into a logical, stepwise explanation which will be readily understood by listeners
