<p>- Manage vendors/agencies as needed to develop and execute tactical programs</p>
<p>- Ensure timely legal, regulatory, and medical review of promotional medical education content</p>

<p>This position will be as a member of the Business Intelligence team of the Global Project Marketing group in the Global Oncology Division. He/She will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of Global Business Intelligence (BI), who has responsibility for the Market Insight, Competitive Intelligence and Forecasting functions. The BI team helps provide strategic direction and coordination for these activities on a global basis, to make sure the BI function delivers as per the needs of the Project Team of each asset, the Business Unit of each market, and the Business Development needs of the Global Portfolio Strategy team.</p>
<p>This will be a high-visibility role; this individual will assume primary BI responsibility for one or more key late-stage oncology assets. In addition, he/she will be the practice area expert in one or more of the following functions &#8211; secondary data analytics, primary market research, forecasting/asset evaluation, or competitive intelligence gathering. This person will actively participate in knowledge sharing and helping implement best practice across the division. Finally, this person will be expected to periodically initiate and lead internal strategic initiatives/projects that innovate and help improve the performance of the overall division.</p>
<p>This person will work closely with the other members of Global Project Marketing (the Market Access function, the various Global Brand Marketing leads), and with colleagues in the Portfolio Strategy/Business Development group. He/she will form strong working relationships with individuals who provide the market research and forecasting functions in the various markets, and ensure that their input is reflected in commissioned BI projects. The position has no direct reports at this time, but will have a Global BI budget that he/she will justify and use to commission outside agencies for various deliverables. To this end, the individual must develop and manage a strong network of external agencies/vendors that provide expert and dependable execution of commissioned projects.</p>
<p> Basic qualifications:</p>
<p>- Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited university, Master&#8217;s degree preferred</p>
<p>- 5+ years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry</p>
<p>- Expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas &#8211; secondary data analyses, primary market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, financial modeling and asset evaluation</p>
<p>- Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of information into cogent insights, and to integrate perspectives across different audiences (physician, payer, patient)</p>
<p>- Experience in oncology, neuroscience or other specialty pharmaceutical area</p>
<p>- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical drug discovery, development and commercialization processes</p>
<p>- Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple internal and/or external customers</p>
<p>- Experience supporting R&amp;D pipeline assets and business development in-licensing opportunities</p>

<p> The Payer Strategy and Marketing Manager is responsible for leveraging extensive managed care payer expertise, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to identify emerging trends and derive key payer insights that will influence payer customer segment strategies, potential business development deals, and payer marketing capabilities for the Company.  This position will include significant communication and cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholder groups, including the field account organizations, brand payer marketing, contract management &amp; analytics, finance, pricing, and market research teams. This position reports to the Director, Managed Healthcare Services Payer Strategy and Marketing.</p>
<p>KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:</p>
<p>Provide input into the Company’s Managed healthcare Services long-range business plans with focus on further understanding payer customer insights and opportunities/threats in the payer environment. This will include:</p>
<p>Continually monitoring payer and overall environmental trends that could impact the Company&#8217;s payer strategies.</p>
<p> Providing consultation on payer insights and strategy to brand payer teams and other key stakeholders to aid in developing marketing plans and tactics for pre-launch, launch and currently marketed products.</p>
<p> Collaborating with Government Strategy and Quality team to monitor the political environment and identify strategies and tactics to address/prepare for key governmental changes in the payer environment.</p>
<p>Enhance pricing, reimbursement and access (PRA) capabilities to support potential co-marketing partnerships and B2B launch-related efforts. Also, provide PRA support for due diligence efforts to support potential business development negotiations and evaluations.</p>
<p> Enhance capabilities to maximize rebate contract performance and brand opportunities through enhanced pull through coordination and improved execution of brand payer strategies with key payer customers.</p>
<p>Based on key payer customer insights, develop, pilot and implement innovative payer marketing programs and capabilities that meet customer needs while also maximizing brand and business opportunities.</p>
<p> Lead/manage special projects as needed.</p>
<p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p>
<p> Bachelors degree or equivalent</p>
<p>Minimum of 2 years experience with managed markets payer marketing, brand marketing or equivalent health plan/PBM related experience.</p>
<p> Deep understanding of commercial and public payer customers (e.g. PBMs, MCOs, Employers, Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, Medicare Part D) and the complex dynamics among key players affecting the payer customer</p>
<p> Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES: </p>
<p>MBA or equivalent experience</p>
<p> Leadership &#8211; ability to lead cross-functional teams</p>
<p> Strong analytic capabilities and communication skills</p>
<p> Deep understanding of laws and regulations covering providers and payers</p>
<p> Ability to apply all Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) and Good Promotional Practices (GPP) in unstructured and fluid situations</p>
<p> Strategic thinking and demonstrated problem solving capability </p>
<p>Influence (one on one and group setting) &#8211; ability to effectively drive decision-making</p>
<p> Strong history of delivering high quality, sustainable results using skills and capabilities</p>
<p>OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:</p>
<p>10-20% Travel depending on business need</p>

<p>Located in Research Triangle Park, NC the Strategic Marketing Manager will join a newly formed team to facilitate bringing the Plant Science traits to the market place. The Manager will report to the Director, Strategic Marketing and will be responsible for building in-depth business plans for new opportunities and support their implementation in various stages.  The manager will also support the Partner Management group to ensure an accurate understanding of the trends in crops and traits, and specific tactical plans. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:</p>
<p>Establish and evaluate short term and long term strategic marketing plan of key crops and technology to achieve marketing objectives of plant science.</p>
<p>Profile/understand key crop trends, uses and the associated value chain and create business case for new product concept development.</p>
<p>Develop and plan partner and market strategies to create new strategic market opportunities for the business.</p>
<p>Initiate new technology and market trend reviews and identify leading technology providers.</p>
<p>As a business team member, provide support for crop and product tactical issues such as pricing forecast, registration, technical development, and value capture methodology, etc. for new projects.</p>
