<p>The <strong>Account Manager</strong> is responsible to maintain and establish growth of the current Academic, Biotech, and Clinical Market customer base. Primary responsibilities also include developing and creating new business opportunities through promoting the reagent portfolio, working strategically  with their Instrument Sales Specialist, Phama Business Development Manager, and Distribution Representatives.  The Account Manager will actively seek to convert competitive business in assigned territory leading to increased revenues for the company. The Account Manager is directly responsible for achieving their territory sales growth.  This position is located in the Houston, TX area.</p>
<p><strong> </strong><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Develop Territorial Business Plan to achieve sales goals inclusive of influencing territorial luminaries via new products/applications positioning.  Develop and maintain adequate short/long term sales pipeline to consistently generate profitable revenue.  Achievement of revenues goals by  growing existing customer bases as well as conversions of competitive accounts.  Strategically work with their Regional Business Manager to build growth business plans around Strategic Accounts.  Ensure all Price Requests are renewed  as appropriate.  Building team relationships with other Company&#8217;s Biosciences Sales, Service, and Technical Support Associates to maximize sales revenues while promoting opportunities, harmony, and territorial management.  Develops and maintains one on one relationship  with key distributor sales reps within assigned areas.  Perform other related duties and  assignments as required.</p>
<p><strong>Assets</strong>:  Life Science sales experience.  MBA a plus.  Flow Cytometry experience.  Familiar with Life Science Research, clinical Immunology, Hematology and/or Flow Cytometry.  Working knowledge of automated biomedical instrumentation and computer technology.  Effective meeting, training, and presentation skills.  Experience in managing both internal and external budgets and resources, conducting pre-call planning, and ability to prioritize and segment accounts.  Effective interpersonal skills. <p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>Operations Excellence Manager</strong> will provide leadership responsibilities and activities for continuous improvement for Acrylic Monomers Unit.  Accountabilities<br />
include aspects of tactical initiatives for EHS performance improvements, product quality, production volume, cost, customer satisfaction, employee/team development, and continuous/sustainable improvement.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Cost- Responsible for leading improvement activities with expected impact on the operations costs for Acrylic Monomers.  Includes variable cost<br />
accountabilities from yield, material usage and utilities performance.  Manager will have oversight and visibility to total operating costs on ongoing basis.   Responsible for guiding team decisions impacting cost and providing leadership to direct improvement activities to meet budget objectives in balance with plant operating demands.   Key measures includes:  Unit Ratio performance and Unit Conversion Cost.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Production Volume/Output-  Responsible for daily plant performance to<br />
optimize production output.  Manager has accountability for executing activities for reliable plant performance including troubleshooting and process optimization.  Key measures include plant reliability, plant availability, plant uptime, time production output, and demonstrated capacity.<br />
Quality-<br />
Responsible for product manufactured in conformance with specifications<br />
and customer requirements.  Manager has accountability for driving quality improvements for yield, total material yield (unit ratio conversion), product and auditing compliance and continuous improvement programs.  Key measures include total material yield, product Cpk, and continuous improvement savings.<br />
Employee/Team Development-  Responsible for the development of the operations team to improve team members skills and capabilities for assessing and implementing continuous improvement actions.  Development may consist of delivery of &#8220;Lean&#8221; manufacturing concepts and tools, 6 sigma quality and capability concepts, design of experiments, root cause failure analysis, maintenance reliability methods, etc.<br />
Assure programs are in place utilizing internal and/or external resources as needed with a framework that fosters team work and collaborative working environment.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Nature and Scope: </strong>This job has responsibility for leading improvement initiatives for the unit, including the ICON (TIPS), and may be developed within the unit or thru CP<br />
Technology and other support functions.  The position has accountability for leading<br />
defined unit operations improvement activities with latitude for independent<br />
decision-making to fulfill the defined objectives for the unit.  The position works collaboratively with team members within the unit (Ops. Coordinator, Ops. Engineer, Maintenance Coordinator, Production Technician) as well as peers across the site for<br />
consistency in leading common site improvement processes (i.e. Lean), and<br />
contributes fully as a peer team member for implementation of improvement<br />

<p>This position leads the process optimization team that is responsible for the NA Process Optimization (PO) Initiative and will also provide expert engineering and consulting services to the Manufacturing Community. This group drives improvements under one of the key pillars of the New Operational eXcellence (OpX) Journey across North American Manufacturing Sites. The team is made up of highly qualified and experienced experts, capable of leading and facilitating complex plant improvement projects and optimization workshops. This position must stay abreast of world-class process improvement processes and cutting-edge systems to maintain competitive advantage for the NA sites. Must be able to adapt these processes to successfully achieve real-world improvements.  The position will coordinate PO workshops and other OpX activities with the NA site managers, the OpX managers, the Automation Manager, the Energy Specialists and others, and is directly responsible for the day-to-day work assignments and activities of the group, providing technical support and guidance as needed. The manager will be responsible for the effective execution of the PO Initiative. The manager will also provide updates to the Manufacturing Community Steering Committee and will serve as the primary NA liaison with the SE consultancy group, ZZC/E, regarding the PO process.</p>
<p>Leads by example and sets environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.</p>

<p>At least 15+ years experience as a Process Design Engineer and/or Operations Engineer. The individual must have:</p>
<p>ability to manage a self-directed, experienced and highly qualified team of experts,</p>
<p>very strong project management, organizational and client relationship skills,</p>
<p>knowledge of a wide variety of chemical production processes,</p>
<p>a strong technical knowledge in the fundamentals of unit operations design and sizing calculations, such as (batch) reactors, distillation towers, heat exchangers and extraction systems,</p>
<p>theoretical know-how and practical experience in troubleshooting plant problems and optimizing plant performance,</p>
<p>a basic knowledge of plant process control and advanced process control techniques and how they can be applied to monitor, control and / or improve plant performance,</p>
<p>strong interpersonal, communication, administrative, personal motivation and personal adaptability skills,</p>
<p>continuing &#8220;state of the art&#8221; advanced course work.</p>
<p> <strong>Desired:</strong></p>
<p>-         Experience in the use of Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) applications, including AspenPlus.</p>
<p>-         Demonstrated work experience implementing projects in the Refining or Petrochemicals industry.</p>

<p>Process Analyzer Engineers in Engineering &amp; Services Department, E&amp;I,  provide process analyzer engineering technical support for plant operating and maintenance departments.  The engineers also provide process analyzer engineering support for capital projects including:<br />
(1) definition of the process analyzer and sample system scope of project<br />
(2) input to estimates, design and specification of equipment<br />
(3) other needed capital project services.  Individuals in this role maintain expertise in assigned functional areas of process analyzers and sample systems.  The engineer also maintains corporate and site standards related to assigned functional areas, aligning these with PIP and other industry standards as applicable.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong><br />
-Provide process analyzer engineering technical support, primarily for the Texas site, but for other sites as requested.<br />
-Identify opportunities for improved process analyzers, sample systems, and on-line analytical services (e.g., quality, cost, reliability). <br />
-Maintain technical expertise in assigned functional areas of process analyzers and sample systems.<br />
-Provide training to operating departments and Analyzer Mechanics related to assigned functional areas.<br />
-Provide forecast cost and schedule estimates for capital and maintenance projects.<br />
-Determine scope of work for process analyzer and sample system portion of projects.<br />
-Provide engineering design and specifications to support procurement and construction activities for projects.<br />
-Lead and/or participate on standards teams to develop standards and practices to be used for Eastman capital and maintenance projects.<br />
-Interpret codes and standards related to functional areas of expertise. <br />
-Participate with E&amp;I team members on improvement projects related to E&amp;I processes.<br />
-Provide on-call E&amp;I support for plant operations.   <br />
-Perform above duties with attention to safety in both work practices and design. <br />
-Perform above duties with a focus on team work and customer satisfaction.<br />

<p>The Reliability Engineer job position is in the Reliability Services group in the Engineering &amp; Services Department at the Longview site.   Personnel in this job position perform work in a variety of areas including: </p>
<p>(1) performing reliability studies or reliability modeling on specific plant equipment or larger systems to identify and recommend projects to improve plant reliability and reduce conversion cost</p>
<p>(2) providing reliability and maintenance input to capital project design</p>
<p>(3) providing technical support to operating and maintenance departments to support on-going plant operations</p>
<p>(4) data mining and data analysis to identify projects to improve plant reliability and reduce conversion cost.   Individuals in this role will utilize a broad range of mechanical engineering, reliability engineering, project leadership and problem solving skills to perform the Reliability Engineer job.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>-Support operations and maintenance during on-going plant operations including troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and support during major turnarounds</p>
<p>-Provide input into capital project scope and detailed engineering to insure reliable plant design, production at target rates, and low life cycle costs,</p>
<p>-Perform analysis of production loss and equipment failure data using statistical analysis tools and recommend projects to improve reliability</p>
<p>-Lead, facilitate, or participate in root cause analyses of process upsets and equipment failures to identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence</p>
<p>-Lead, facilitate, or participate in failure modes and effects analyses for specific equipment, plant systems, or entire production units to identify improvement projects to improve reliability and reduce conversion cost.</p>
<p>-Coordinate engineering, repair and construction activities for plant alterations and improvements,</p>
<p>-Lead problem solving teams to identify, design and implement improvements</p>
<p>-Effectively utilize and promote the use of reliability tools such as RCA, Weibull analysis, Reliability Modeling, and other reliability tools</p>
<p>-Coordinate and manage reliability project development, design, and installation</p>
<p><strong>Job Qualifications/Skills:</strong></p>
<p>-Broad range of mechanical engineering skills</p>
<p>-Working knowledge and training in basic reliability engineering tools including root cause analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, reliability modeling, Weibull analysis and other reliability tools.</p>
<p>-Practical statistical analysis</p>
<p>-Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills</p>
<p>-Good understanding of common equipment preventative and predictive technologies</p>
<p>-Ability to effectively handle a large volume of important or urgent issues in a timely manner</p>
<p>-Ability to effectively self manage a very demanding workload</p>
<p>-Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse groups of people</p>
<p>-Very high level of initiative</p>

<p>-Capital project engineering experience is desirable</p>

<p>Bachelor (BS) or Master&#8217;s (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university is required. </p>
<p> Three years minimum experience in a reliability engineering related job position in the petrochemical or petroleum refinery industry or similar industry is required.</p>
