<p>The <strong>Aseptic Process Engineer- Syringe Filling </strong>provides technical leadership and high-level engineering expertise for all syringe filling and inspection operations in the Parenteral Plant.</p>
<p><strong>KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES: </strong></p>
<p>Coach and mentor engineering associates in aspects of syringe filling and handling, including: process knowledge, problem solving, project management, and engineering design.  Provide companywide syringe process expertise.  Identify syringe process knowledge gaps that impact equipment and process capability.  Review and track key syringe filling line process metrics.  Improve throughput and optimize the syringe filling<br />
line(s)</p>
<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: </strong>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering or related field.  Minimum of 10 years syringe filling experience (Design or operations of syringe filling / processing equipment).   Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be<br />
employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship<br />
for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment<br />
position.</p>
<p><strong>ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES: </strong>Technology Glass handling and/ or glass fractographical experience.</p>
<p><strong>OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:  D</strong>ay Shift, possible after-hour support.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>A minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a Biology or other scientific discipline.  A minimum of 2 years hands of laboratory experience.  A valid driver&#8217;s license.<br />
Ability to travel a minimum of 50%</p>
<p>The <strong>Account Manager</strong> is responsible to maintain and establish growth of the current Academic, Biotech, and Clinical Market customer base. Primary responsibilities also include developing and creating new business opportunities through promoting the reagent portfolio, working strategically  with their Instrument Sales Specialist, Phama Business Development Manager, and Distribution Representatives.  The Account Manager will actively seek to convert competitive business in assigned territory leading to increased revenues for the company. The Account Manager is directly responsible for achieving their territory sales growth.  This position is located in the Houston, TX area.</p>
<p><strong> </strong><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Develop Territorial Business Plan to achieve sales goals inclusive of influencing territorial luminaries via new products/applications positioning.  Develop and maintain adequate short/long term sales pipeline to consistently generate profitable revenue.  Achievement of revenues goals by  growing existing customer bases as well as conversions of competitive accounts.  Strategically work with their Regional Business Manager to build growth business plans around Strategic Accounts.  Ensure all Price Requests are renewed  as appropriate.  Building team relationships with other Company&#8217;s Biosciences Sales, Service, and Technical Support Associates to maximize sales revenues while promoting opportunities, harmony, and territorial management.  Develops and maintains one on one relationship  with key distributor sales reps within assigned areas.  Perform other related duties and  assignments as required.</p>

<p>This individual will support marketing strategies by implementing Medical Education tactics for the product. This position will interface with various Medical support, medical education and field teams. The focus is to build, align, and disseminate key messages through Medical Education initiatives. The individual will also work collaboratively with the other brand team members of the Marketing Team.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>- Execute Medical Education and Market Development brand strategies and tactics in order to successfully launch the product in the U.S.</p>
<p>- Implement and execute multi-year convention strategy for MS in alliance with global and affiliate partners.</p>
<p>- Key brand interface with internal US Convention planning teams.  Liaise with global convention colleagues as needed.</p>
<p>- Lead KTL mapping and segmentation.  Establish and implement KTL Advisory Council, Steering Committee and Regional Advisory Boards.</p>
<p>- Maintain brand interface with Medical and associated Medical support teams (Publications, IME, Field)</p>
<p>- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, as well as the many cross-functional teams that support the brands</p>
<p>- Transform highly complex information about the healthcare business environment into actionable intelligence resulting in a sustainable competitive advantage for brand</p>
<p>- Manage vendors/agencies as needed to develop and execute tactical programs</p>
<p>- Ensure timely legal, regulatory, and medical review of promotional medical education content</p>
<p>- Assess potential market opportunities while developing a marketing plan on how to potentially maximize and leverage those opportunities</p>
<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<p>- Bachelor&#8217;s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred</p>

<p>This is a technical leadership position within the Protein Optimization Team of Biotechnology Discovery Research with responsibility for identification and evaluation of therapeutic lead molecules, material generation, characterization, and optimization of biotherapeutics as projects progress from target identification to lead optimization and development. In addition to providing technical leadership for projects, the individual will supervise scientists with BS, MS and/or Ph.D. degrees, propose strategies and future directions to meet project and departmental goals, and effectively communicate progress to management and governance committees. This candidate will interact cross-functionally within Biotechnology Discovery Research and Applied Molecular Evolution, as well as the Drug Hunting Teams in different therapeutic areas, Drug Disposition, Regulatory and Bioproduct Development, as projects move from the bench/concept to the clinic.</p>
<p><strong>KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES</strong>:</p>
<p>Lead reseach efforts that support project teams from concept through Lead Optimization with responsibility for identification of lead therapeutic molecules, material generation and characterization of biopharmaceutical properties using biochemical and biophysical techniques, and implementing molecular engineering strategies to improve drug properties of therapeutic antibodies and proteins. This requires a broad repertoire of skills and knowledge including protein expression, protein purification, physicochemical characterization, as well as a strong understanding of protein engineering concepts.</p>
<p><strong>Drug Hunting Focus</strong>: The candidate is expected to exhibit strong problem solving abilities and be familiar with understanding and resolving issues ranging from biology to bioproduct developability. Prior experience with the strategies employed in moving a therapeutic opportunity from a cellular or molecular concept to proof of principle confirmation in humans is seen as an advantage.</p>
<p><strong>Leadership</strong>: In advancing the optimization of lead therapeutic molecules, the candidate will be required to lead/co-lead multidisciplinary teams. Accordingly, strong communication and presentation skills in sharing research findings and team plans, and effective team work will be required</p>
<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p>
<p>A Ph.D. degree in the biological or chemical sciences</p>
<p>8 to 12 years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company with a demonstrated leadership in protein structure function analyses and protein engineering and a track record of advancing biotherapeutics, e.g. therapeutic proteins or antibodies from concept to clinical development.</p>
<p>5-8 years of supervisory experience in directing other scientists, including Ph.D. level senior scientists, in the design and execution of experiments is required</p>
<p>Deep expertise of protein structure and post-translational modifications, and experience using state of the art analytical methods to characterize proteins, as demonstrated by publications or patents.</p>
<p><strong>ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES</strong>:</p>
<p>Strong communication and presentation skills, in sharing research findings and team plans, and effective team work will be required.</p>
<p>Appreciation of protein formulation requirements and experience incorporating pharmaceutical developability assessment in protein optimization and candidate identification.</p>

<p>This cross functional position is an integral part of the Protein Optimization Characterization lab within the Protein Optimization Team of Biotechnology Discovery Research, which is responsible for generating, characterizing, and optimizing biotherapeutics from lead generation to lead optimization and preclinical development. We are seeking a motivated research associate with a BS or MS degree in biochemistry or related field that exhibits a broad analytical aptitude who can function in a highly collaborative environment performing analytical purification and biochemical characterization of proteins/peptides in a multidisciplinary team focusing on optimizing therapeutic properties of biotherapeutics.</p>
<p><strong>KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:</strong></p>
<p>The individual will perform mass spectrometry of proteins and peptides to support multiple drug discovery programs.</p>
<p>Additionally, they will perform appropriate protein sample preparation methods (e.g. in gel digestion, in solution digestion, protein/peptide separation on HPLC, etc.).</p>
<p>The individual will be responsible performing intact mass analysis, peptide mapping and LC MS/MS analysis.</p>
<p>Additionally the successful candidate will operate, maintain and troubleshoot liquid chromatography, mass spectrometers and auxiliary instrumentation.</p>
<p>The individual will also employ scientific background and communication skills to professionally support investigators by recommending sample preparation methods, advising in experimental design, and assisting in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of experimental results in conjunction with other staff within the Protein Optimization Team.</p>
<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p>
<p>A BS with more than two years of research experience or MS degree in protein biochemistry or related field is required.</p>

<p>The Clinical Trial Support Operations (CTSO) team is responsible for providing clinical trial study drug management services and supporting the Demand Management side of the business by providing the following support services:  Distribution, Study Order Management and Ownership, and Business Systems Support &amp; Operations. - Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical background preferred<br />
- 1-2 years&#8217; experience preferred<br />
- Well  organized and self- directed to be capable of handling multiple mission-critical tasks simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines with quality<br />
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills <br />
- Fluent in English and Spanish a plus<br />
- Customer service skills an asset<br />
- Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gains support and commitment from others, mobilizes people to take action, drives for results and success.<br />
- A self-starter with lateral thinking, capable of multi-tasking, effective problem solving and project management skills<br />
- Ability to bring project to successful completions though political sensitivity<br />
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial<br />
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others both inside and outside of our organization<br />

- Proficient experience in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, and Lotus Notes<br />
