<p><strong>Summary:  </strong></p>
<p>The employee in this position will support the President in managing and providing follow up on the business projects.  In addition, this position will also provide support to the President in managing the business of the Latin American Countries.</p>
<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: </p>
<p>- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the President<br />
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end<br />
- Align and follow up on business trends, customer coverage, customer response, market feedback and identify opportunities<br />
- Develops and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends and experience<br />
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents<br />
- Identify or develops cutting edge analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions<br />
- Lead efforts to develop innovative business models and analyses to support multiple projects<br />
- Manages proactive business planning activities and priority projects<br />
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals<br />
- Set and continually manage project expectations with other stake holders<br />
- Track project milestones and deliverables<br />
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations<br />
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans<br />
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project<br />
- Assists and participates in the product strategy working group in preparation of product development projects<br />
- Screens and evaluates operational and business feasibility for product projects</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>- MBA essential<br />
- Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical background preferred<br />
- 1-2 years&#8217; experience preferred<br />
- Well  organized and self- directed to be capable of handling multiple mission-critical tasks simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines with quality<br />
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills <br />
- Fluent in English and Spanish a plus<br />
- Customer service skills an asset<br />
- Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gains support and commitment from others, mobilizes people to take action, drives for results and success.<br />
- A self-starter with lateral thinking, capable of multi-tasking, effective problem solving and project management skills<br />
- Ability to bring project to successful completions though political sensitivity<br />
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial<br />
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others both inside and outside of our organization<br />
- Strong sense of teamwork, dignity, integrity and respect<br />
- Proficient experience in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, and Lotus Notes<br />
- Excellent  analytical, problem solving skills, technical analysis and data manipulation skills<br />
- Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights<br />

<p>Position Overview Essential Functions &#8211; Drive all Global Logistics processes and lead the organization to maximize the benefits of a single global logistics team. &#8211; - Set the strategy for all areas of Logistics, including ocean, rail, ground and warehousing. &#8211; - Develop the optimal network strategy to maximize service levels while minimizing cost. &#8211; - Managing external fourth party (4PL) and third party (3PL) Logistics suppliers &#8211; - Harmonize processes across Logistics operations in all areas of the world. &#8211; Specific Responsibilities Include: &#8211; Develop and set strategy for a Global Logistics network. &#8211; Lead a global team of individuals responsible for the analysis, improvement and implementation of all freight modes to ensure lowest cost, maximum efficiency, and to meet all customer needs. &#8211; Manage the Global Logistics budgeting process. &#8211; Manage all internal and external warehouse resources and develop and implement optimization plans. &#8211; Lead the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures to be set/utilized by each Logistics professional globally. &#8211; Manage relationships with 3PL and 4PL service providers to achieve target savings and hit performance targets. &#8211; Lead the development and implementation of appropriate metrics and business reporting processes. &#8211; Manage and complete all required Human Resources and Compliance process requirements. &#8211; Lead career development and performance development / improvement for direct reports. &#8211; Must be able/willing to travel internationally approximately 35% of time. Required Skills Required Education and Professional Qualifications: &#8211; Bachelors Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, engineering or a related discipline Required Work Experience: &#8211; 10+ years in leading a global transportation/logistics network. &#8211; 5+ years of direct leadership experience including leading global teams. &#8211; Experience dealing with NAFTA and other free trade zone agreements. &#8211; Demonstrated experience managing import/export compliance. &#8211; Experience in managing the transportation and storage of hazardous materials / dangerous goods and cold storage / short shelf life material. &#8211; Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop talent. &#8211; Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization from Senior Leadership to Shop Floor Operations. Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge: &#8211; Experience working in a global business utilizing the SAP ERP platform. &#8211; Experience with Warehouse Management Systems &#8211; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)</p>
