<p><strong>Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer </strong></p>
<p>The role of the Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer is to manage the plant maintenance systems in a safe work environment, within the quality standards, while meeting the production schedule within cost limitations.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>- Maintains equipment and systems in functional, safe working condition while meeting all regulatory</p>
<p>  requirements</p>
<p>- Plans, organizes and coordinates work activities of   maintenance employees and boiler operators</p>
<p>- Manages and develops employees to meet performance expectations and company standards for personal safety, productivity, quality, environmental and regulatory compliance</p>
<p>- Manages predictive and preventative maintenance activities</p>
<p>- Improves equipment efficiencies. Identifies opportunities and projects to improve equipment and</p>
<p>  systems to optimize overall plant performance</p>
<p>- Maintains involvement and influence in the development and implementation of products, process and equipment changes</p>
<p>- Manages department capital project work</p>
<p>- Responsible for incident investigation and root cause analysis</p>
<p>- Troubleshoots and provides solutions to plant equipment issues to support plant manufacturing goals. Acts as technical resource on plant equipment and systems</p>
<p><strong>Education and Qualifications:  </strong></p>
<p>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.  A minimum of 1-3 years supervisory experience required.  Possess strong understanding of engineering, industrial safety, contractor management, and project management.  Knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.) is desired. Must be successful at working in a team environment, demonstrated coaching, delegating, and possess problem solving and facilitating skills.  Operations and project management skills/experiences related to the following systems: Boilers, Steam, Condensate, Air Compressor, Chilled Water, Water, Waste Water, and HVAC are beneficial.</p>

<p> This position is intended to provide Capital Project and Turnaround (TAR) scheduling development and management.  This position will set up and maintain schedules on large/complex jobs, provide oversight and direction to contract schedulers, and provide basic training on scheduling to project team members.  The services provided by this position, require an in depth technical knowledge of both the tool software and the scheduling and reporting work processes. Having accurate schedules that are properly managed, helps ensure project and TAR plans are in alignment with business targets.  An accurate schedule also enables contractor manpower levels to be optimized up front, which reduces cost.</p>
<p>Develop a detailed and optimized project/TAR execution schedule that links dependent activities and shows an accurate and integrated timeline for the scope of work (capital executed during the TAR, operational, and maintenance).</p>
<p>Perform job manpower leveling in order to identify and optimize labor resource requirements.</p>
<p>Update schedule and report progress during the project/TAR on a routine basis.</p>
<p>Generate predefined look-ahead schedules and ad hoc reports on an as needed basis, in order to provide day-to-day scheduling direction to the project/TAR execution team and the contractors.</p>
<p>Track and report on critical path activities in order to help the project/TAR execution team to determine proper prioritization of work.</p>
<p>Integrate project scope changes and/or TAR discovery work into the schedule to help determine manpower and schedule duration impact.</p>
<p>This position must have extensive scheduling experience (5 &#8211; 10 years) in a Chemical and/or Refining manufacturing facility. Sound knowledge of planning is also necessary; along with strong knowledge of construction and maintenance work execution for the different types of crafts.</p>
<p>A minimum of 3 years experience working with Primavera is required and experience with version 6 of this software is highly desirable.  </p>
<p>It is desirable for this position to have working knowledge of SAP.  It is also desirable for this position to have a 2 year vocational degree and/or construction/maintenance craft work experience in a Chemical and/or Refining manufacturing facility.</p>

<p>This position leads the process optimization team that is responsible for the NA Process Optimization (PO) Initiative and will also provide expert engineering and consulting services to the Manufacturing Community. This group drives improvements under one of the key pillars of the New Operational eXcellence (OpX) Journey across North American Manufacturing Sites. The team is made up of highly qualified and experienced experts, capable of leading and facilitating complex plant improvement projects and optimization workshops. This position must stay abreast of world-class process improvement processes and cutting-edge systems to maintain competitive advantage for the NA sites. Must be able to adapt these processes to successfully achieve real-world improvements.  The position will coordinate PO workshops and other OpX activities with the NA site managers, the OpX managers, the Automation Manager, the Energy Specialists and others, and is directly responsible for the day-to-day work assignments and activities of the group, providing technical support and guidance as needed. The manager will be responsible for the effective execution of the PO Initiative. The manager will also provide updates to the Manufacturing Community Steering Committee and will serve as the primary NA liaison with the SE consultancy group, ZZC/E, regarding the PO process.</p>
<p>Leads by example and sets environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.</p>
<p>Inspires others and takes accountability for an innovation pipeline by championing and discerning new and creative approaches.</p>

<p> BS degree in Chemical Engineering. Course study towards an advanced degree is strongly encouraged.  We recognize institutions of higher education that are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.</p>
<p>At least 15+ years experience as a Process Design Engineer and/or Operations Engineer. The individual must have:</p>
<p>ability to manage a self-directed, experienced and highly qualified team of experts,</p>
<p>very strong project management, organizational and client relationship skills,</p>
<p>knowledge of a wide variety of chemical production processes,</p>
<p>a strong technical knowledge in the fundamentals of unit operations design and sizing calculations, such as (batch) reactors, distillation towers, heat exchangers and extraction systems,</p>
<p>theoretical know-how and practical experience in troubleshooting plant problems and optimizing plant performance,</p>
<p>a basic knowledge of plant process control and advanced process control techniques and how they can be applied to monitor, control and / or improve plant performance,</p>
<p>strong interpersonal, communication, administrative, personal motivation and personal adaptability skills,</p>
<p>continuing &#8220;state of the art&#8221; advanced course work.</p>

<p>The Clinical Trial Support Operations (CTSO) team is responsible for providing clinical trial study drug management services and supporting the Demand Management side of the business by providing the following support services:  Distribution, Study Order Management and Ownership, and Business Systems Support &amp; Operations. The Clinical Trial Support Operations team partners with appropriate business partners to ensure study order ownership and support to successfully enable clinical research.</p>

<p>The Ideal Candidate:</p>
<p>5+to 7 years experience</p>
<p>Minimum Education &#8211; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree</p>
<p>Process Analyzer Engineers in Engineering &amp; Services Department, E&amp;I,  provide process analyzer engineering technical support for plant operating and maintenance departments.  The engineers also provide process analyzer engineering support for capital projects including:<br />
(1) definition of the process analyzer and sample system scope of project<br />
(2) input to estimates, design and specification of equipment<br />
(3) other needed capital project services.  Individuals in this role maintain expertise in assigned functional areas of process analyzers and sample systems.  The engineer also maintains corporate and site standards related to assigned functional areas, aligning these with PIP and other industry standards as applicable.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong><br />
-Provide process analyzer engineering technical support, primarily for the Texas site, but for other sites as requested.<br />
-Identify opportunities for improved process analyzers, sample systems, and on-line analytical services (e.g., quality, cost, reliability). <br />
-Maintain technical expertise in assigned functional areas of process analyzers and sample systems.<br />
-Provide training to operating departments and Analyzer Mechanics related to assigned functional areas.<br />
-Provide forecast cost and schedule estimates for capital and maintenance projects.<br />
-Determine scope of work for process analyzer and sample system portion of projects.<br />
-Provide engineering design and specifications to support procurement and construction activities for projects.<br />
-Lead and/or participate on standards teams to develop standards and practices to be used for Eastman capital and maintenance projects.<br />
-Interpret codes and standards related to functional areas of expertise. <br />
-Participate with E&amp;I team members on improvement projects related to E&amp;I processes.<br />
-Provide on-call E&amp;I support for plant operations.   <br />
-Perform above duties with attention to safety in both work practices and design. <br />
-Perform above duties with a focus on team work and customer satisfaction.<br />
-Prioritize work assignments based on the safety, environmental, regulatory, and economic value to Eastman.</p>
<p><strong>Job Qualifications/Skills</strong><br />
- Process Analyzer Engineering and Project Management Skills, including:<br />
Sample System Design and Maintenance Improvements, including all aspects delivering a representative sample to a process analyzer.<br />
Process Analyzer Applications and Maintenance Improvements, with special emphasis on process gas chromatographs, process safety analyzers, and environmental monitoring.<br />
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment with personnel from diverse backgrounds<br />
-Ability to effectively handle a large volume of important or urgent issues in a timely manner.<br />
-Ability to effectively self-manage a very demanding workload.<br />
-Ability to effectively represent Eastman interest with outside groups, companies, and agencies. <br />
-Very high level of initiative.<br />
-Very service oriented and customer focused.<br />
-Strong commitment to personnel and process safety.<br />
-Good written and oral communication skills.<br />

<p>Bachelor (BS) or Master&#8217;s (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university is required.</p>
<p>A minimum of five years experience in process analyzer and sample system design / maintenance in the petrochemical industry or petroleum refinery industry is required</p>
