Seeking Procurement Business Analyst to:

This role is responsible for providing strategic analysis of key energy inputs to the petrochemicals industry including crude oil, natural gas, and coal.  The analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining data related to supply/demand balances, trade flows, production economics, long-term drivers of pricing (macro-economic, political, technology, regulations, governmental policy, etc.) and other industry trends and issues related to upstream energies and technologies.

This position is a highly visible role within the company and interfaces with our global procurement and business teams. There is senior management level support to build additional bandwidth and capability in this area.

Key Job Responsibilities:
-Collaboratively develop and communicate deep fundamental knowledge of key energy inputs to key internal stakeholders
-Provide strategic analysis of energy markets as input to energy procurement plan development
-Manage relationships and interface with energy industry consultants
-Function as expert consultant on energy markets to other functions within the company such as Global Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Indirect Procurement, Developing Technology, and Investor Relations to provide insight and knowledge of key energy inputs to the petrochemical industry
-Lead development of the long-term forecast for energy commodities
-Facilitate and present  periodic executive summaries of key energy markets to senior and executive team management
-Participate on growth teams and provide energy market analysis as needed
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Desired Experience:
-Minimum of six years experience as an analyst or related position in energy/petrochemical markets
-Experience with commodity market models
-Deep knowledge of energy and related industries
-Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and accountability with an attention to detail
