Located in Research Triangle Park, NC the Strategic Marketing Manager will join a newly formed team to facilitate bringing the Plant Science traits to the market place. The Manager will report to the Director, Strategic Marketing and will be responsible for building in-depth business plans for new opportunities and support their implementation in various stages.  The manager will also support the Partner Management group to ensure an accurate understanding of the trends in crops and traits, and specific tactical plans. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Establish and evaluate short term and long term strategic marketing plan of key crops and technology to achieve marketing objectives of plant science.

Profile/understand key crop trends, uses and the associated value chain and create business case for new product concept development.

Develop and plan partner and market strategies to create new strategic market opportunities for the business.

Initiate new technology and market trend reviews and identify leading technology providers.

As a business team member, provide support for crop and product tactical issues such as pricing forecast, registration, technical development, and value capture methodology, etc. for new projects.

Support management in crop analysis, forecast and planning, especially from market perspectives.
